Seasons Change, Purpose Remains
As the leaves fall and the year moves into its final chapter, many of us feel a tug toward reflection. The shift from vibrant color to quiet stillness isn't something to rush through. Just like nature’s autumn cycle, leadership and purpose have seasons.
In leadership, there are seasons of planting, tending, harvesting, and yes even seasons of quiet pruning. Falling leaves remind us that letting go is part of growth.
Purpose isn’t static. It doesn’t rise and stay fixed in the sky. Purpose changes shape with us. It deepens as we reflect, adapt, and shift.
And as the year winds down, the invitation isn’t to push harder, but the call is to align deeper. To listen. To prune away what no longer serves our mission and vision so we can lead well in the season ahead.
This November, reflect on what you’ve sown, celebrate the harvest, and release what’s done.
Your purpose doesn’t leave you; it simply asks for renewed intention. Let this be a season of gratitude where the root of your calling grows stronger even when the world around you quiets.
